Born and grown up in Tehran, Iran, Nazanin was interested in painting from the early childhood. She started learning painting professionally while she was only 11 years old under the instruction of Master Ali Ashraf Vali. Due to her interest and talent, she could learn fundamentals of drawing and painting very quickly. She continued attending Master Vali courses until the age of 22 and learnt painting in oil, pastel, acrylic and Conté in different styles. In 2006, she joined Master Mahmoud Samandarian classes, and learnt watercolor painting for three years.  She has also been teaching painting to different age groups since 2003. Her painting styles are realism, impressionism and combination of both.
In 2011, she moved to Vancouver, BC, Canada. She got involved in Vancouver art community and had several exhibitions since then.  She is also an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.
